S&P Global Launches Crypto-Linked Index with Tokenized Tracking by Dinari
S&P Global is expanding its crypto index offerings with the launch of the S&P Digital Markets 50 Index, a benchmark tracking both cryptocurrencies and publicly traded equities tied to the digital asset ecosystem. Dinari, a leader in tokenized securities, will create a token mirroring the index.
The MOVE reflects growing institutional acceptance of digital assets as viable portfolio components. "Cryptocurrencies have transitioned from niche to mainstream," said Cameron Drinkwater of S&P Dow Jones Indices, noting global demand for regulated exposure tools across diversification and growth strategies.
This development underscores two key market trends: the maturation of crypto-linked financial products and the increasing role of traditional index providers in bringing transparency to digital asset markets. The collaboration between S&P and Dinari bridges legacy finance with blockchain innovation through tokenization.
